this EP is supposed to take the sounds generated on old sound hardware from the late 70's to the early 90's and repurpose those sounds into more modern sounding music
track 1 (Pokey's Adventure) is based on the pokey soundchip present in the atari 2600 console
track 2 (2A09) is based on the Ricoh 2A03 found in the nintendo entertainment system
track 3 (BrainDMG-01) is supposed to emulate the sounds of the DMG-01, also known as the game boy
